Attractive Ways to Organize in the Bathroom
Last week I talked about clearing the clutter from your bathroom. I’m hoping that there are a few of you out there in the blogosphere who are now feeling slightly “lighter”. Do you feel a bit of weight has been lifted when you look at your vanity?
Today, I want to suggest a few ideas for things you can use to organize your bathroom without spending a penny. So, before you head out to the Container Store, try shopping around your house for some of the following items.
Mugs
In addition to storing little items like hair elastics or a razor, try using mugs for bars of soap.
Silver (gasp!)
That’s right – go for it! Instead of keeping it behind closed cabinet doors, why not enjoy it each and every day?
Wooden crates and wire bins
Pottery
Put those pretty pieces out!
Furniture
Does your bathroom have a little extra floor space but need more storage? Nothing personalizes a bathroom more than a little antique piece like this table. And a lamp too!

A hanging kitchen basket
Planters
… or a plant stand outfitted with bowls
And of course, baskets
