  • REDESIGN: FROM FORGETTABLE TO FABULOUS

    Do you walk into some of yours rooms and feel like they don’t work? Having trouble integrating newly acquired pieces? Planning a party or important guests and want your space to look perfect?

    ADD A SHOPPING OPTION TO YOUR REDESIGN!

    For my clients who are a mix of adventurous and short on time, this is the perfect service for you. We’ll meet in the space to discuss your needs and your budget. Examples of things I would shop for:

    • Lamps

    • Pillows & throw blankets

    • Plants (live)

    • Bedding

    • Large decor (mirrors, baskets, etc.)

    • Coffee table or bookcase decor

    • Organizational items for offices, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.

    Once we put together your list of needs, you’ll send me off to do the shopping on my own.* We’ll set a date for your redesign where I’ll arrange your furniture, hang artwork, place lighting, accessories, and whatever else the room (or rooms) may need. You arrive home to your new office, bedroom, living room, you name it!

    *Please note, this service does not include shopping for furniture with the exception of small accent pieces in stock locally.

  • Malissa McLeod Interiors offers a focused design consultation where you get to bring all the questions that are swimming in your head about how to transform your home.

    We’ll do a 2-hour walk-through in your space where I’ll review your needs, problem solve, answer questions, consider color schemes, and identify quick fixes for design challenges, as well as longer-term priorities.

    A comprehensive written list of exactly what needs to be done in each of your rooms to prepare your home for the market. This document will prioritize and focus your efforts, taking all guesswork out of the staging process.

    *Realtors receive a discounted rate. Please contact me for information.

    TOO BUSY? – FULL SERVICE STAGING

    We begin with a 1-hour walk through to determine whether or not there are things you need to accomplish prior to the staging (packing, replacing a fixture, changing a paint color, making repairs, etc.). Then we’ll schedule a date to stage your home prior to going on the market. This service is appropriate for homes that are occupied (i.e. have furniture and decor). I’m happy to work and coordinate with any Realtor. If you don’t have one yet, please visit my Resources page for recommendations.

    Timing: ALL stagings are finished in one day.

    Pricing: Depending on the size and scope of the job, most stagings range somewhere between $360 and $720. I’ll provide you with a quote prior to the work beginning. Let me know if you have a budget you are working with, and I’ll prioritize the most important spaces.

  • By now many have read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. People ask me about it all the time. It’s a good book with some excellent strategies for clearing out the clutter. My hat is off to anyone who has gone through the process and succeeded.

    That said, if you’re like most people, you need help.

    Whether you are downsizing or just need to wrangle your clutter in, the biggest success stories include an organizing professional who was working right alongside the client. I’m here as muscle, motivator, support system, and sometimes just to hold your feet to the fire and keep you accountable. Organizing is hard work and completely overwhelming to most people.     ORGANIZING SESSIONS FEE: $55/HOUR

    Sessions are scheduled in 4-hour blocks. After many years I’ve found this to be the magic number. It’s long enough to move through a ton of stuff yet at the four-hour mark clients are pretty tired and ready to stop. Believe it or not, they’re physically tired but mentally energized by the time we finish. Now doesn’t that sound refreshing?
